Starting at 8 years old, I have been dedicated to kart racing for 6 years, always working on improving my fundamental racing skills.  In the past two years, my hard work has paid off with these results:

  • December 2017:  Finalist for the VMB Driver Development Scholarship Shootout, 1 of 4 drivers to compete in the FormulaSPEED 2.0 open-wheel race car.

  • 2017 Race Season:  Champion, Junior ROK, Sanzaru Games Karting Championship, Sonoma Raceway, CA

  • October 2017:   Represented Team USA at ROK Cup International Finals in Lonato, Italy

  • September 2017:  Champion, West Coast ROK Shootout; qualified for International Finals, Italy

  • April 2017:  Champion, Junior Rotax, Challenge of the Americas, Round 5, Sonoma Raceway, CA

  • 2016 Race Season:  Vice-Champion, Junior Rotax, Sanzaru Games Karting Championship, Sonoma Raceway, CA

I have raced and been competitive with some of the best drivers in the United States and Internationally, at the ROK Cup International Finals in Italy.

For the 2018 racing season, I am ready to make the transition from karts to cars and the FormulaSPEED 2.0 race car with the World Speed Motorsports team will be the best way to further develop my racing skills.  After a one day test with World Speed Motorsports, I was invited to apply for the VMB Driver Development Scholarship program.  As one of the final four finalists to compete in the VMB/World Speed Motorsports shootout, I enjoyed working with the entire race team.  I believe I have the skills, dedication, and potential to become a successful race car driver.

My love for cars began before I was three years old.  In the early years, the movie, Cars by Pixar Studios was my biggest influence.  I have grown up watching Indycar and many other race series at Sonoma Raceway.  At 10 years old I took the first flight by myself to meet my dad in Austin, TX, to attend my first Formula 1 race at the Circuit of the Americas!

In addition to racing, these are additional achievements and activities:

  • Junior Varsity Cross Country team at Campolindo High School

  • Black belt in Kung Fu

  • Mountain biking in Lake Tahoe, and local regional parks

  • Basketball teams for nine years

  • Piano classes and performances for seven years

  • Mandarin, French, and Spanish:  one year of each language

  • Snow skiing in Lake Tahoe

  • Honor Roll for past two years

  • Mentor young kart racers

  • International Travel:  U.K., France, Switzerland, Italy
